Providence Staffing is seeking a Data Developer 4 for a major energy-sector client in Birmingham, AL. This role is 100% onsite and ideal for professionals with advanced experience in data development, cloud technologies, and application integration.

 

Pay Rate: $58.40 per hour
Location: Birmingham, AL

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage data development projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to define project objectives and translate them into technical deliverables.
• Design and maintain project documentation including requirements, specifications, and technical reports.
• Utilize Power BI to create data visualizations and generate reporting insights for enterprise-level analytics.
• Oversee cloud-based development initiatives using Azure, with a focus on performance, scalability, and secure data architecture.
• Drive application development projects leveraging Python or .NET frameworks.
• Coordinate and support data delivery projects, including gathering and refining business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and agile project methodologies.
• Facilitate project meetings, communicate progress updates, and proactively address project risks or delays.
• Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and results-oriented execution.

 

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Data Developer, Technical Project Manager, or a similar role within a software or data development environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Azure Cloud development, Python and/or .NET technologies.
• Development Lifecycle Knowledge: Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Certifications: PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
